การประกวดแบบภูมิสถาปัตยกรรม Stage II - อนุสรณ์สถานถลางชนะศึก
ผลการประชุมรับฟังความคิดเห็นและการตัดสินโดยกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 9 ท่านนั้น ทีม PASA Landscape ได้รับรางวัลที่ 1 เพื่อดำเนินการออกแบบก่อสร้างต่อไป โดยงบประมาณของจังหวัดภูเก็ต บริษัท Emphasite ได้รับเสียง vote จากประชาชนมากที่สุด ทั้ง 2 ทีมเป็นทีมนิสิตเก่าภาควิชาฯ

ผศ.ดร.อังสนา บุณโยภาส เข้าร่วมประชุม ณ ประเทศมาเลเซีย
เมื่อวันที่ 8-9 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 นางสาวสุพิชฌาย์ เมืองศรี เป็นตัวแทนไปนำเสนอหัวข้อวิทยานิพนธ์ พร้อมกับ ผศ.ดร.อังสนา บุณโยภาส อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาวิทยานิพนธ์ ในหัวข้อเรื่อง " Landscape Design Guidelines for Key View Points of Tourist's Attraction in Chiangmai Province" ในงานประชุม Graduate Research Colloquim in Southeast Asian Landscape and Urbanism. ซึ่งจัดโดย Faculty of Built Environment & The School of Graduate Studies, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
ในการประชุมในครั้งนี้มีนักศึกษามาจากประเทศมาเลเชีย อินโดนีเซีย สิงคโปร์ และประเทศไทย ซึ่งพบว่านักศึกษาจากทุกประเทศล้วนให้ความสำคัญกับการวิจัยเป็นอย่างมาก ทุกคนมีความพยายามที่จะพัฒนางานวิจัยของตนเองให้ดีขึ้น นอกจากนี้ยังทำให้ทราบถึงประเด็นที่เป็นที่สนใจศึกษาวิจัยในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ รวมถึงแนวทางของกระบวนการทำวิจัย เทคนิค และเทคโนโลยีที่นำมาใช้ในการวิจัย ถือได้ว่าเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งที่จะนำแนวทางเหล่านี้มาประยุกต์และปรับใช้กับงานวิจัยในประเทศไทยได้ อีกทั้งยังได้รู้จักกับเพื่อนๆต่างสถาบันทำให้ได้มีโอกาสในการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น ข้อมูล และวิธีการในการทำวิจัยซึ่งกันและกัน อันเป็นประโยชน์อย่างมากในการพัฒนางานวิจัยให้ดีขึ้นด้วย

It is however, a challenge on how to learn from the basic principles of water human interaction and apply those lessons to the current context of urban and rural settings.
